Robert Westbury - Real Estate Agent
Rob Westbury was born in England and moved to Kitchener, Ontario at the age of 6. He became interested in computers at an early age, programming games like Pac-Man and Snake, and eventually graduating from the University of Waterloo and carving out a career in Software Development. However, his interest in Real Estate was undeniable, beginning with his observations of a few basement apartments he rented while working Co-Op jobs in Toronto. Shortly after graduating, he purchased a condominium near the University of Waterloo and proceeded to rent it out to students. Eventually, he would focus on Duplexes and even completed the entire conversion of a single-family home into a duplex as a solo renovation project to gain more experience with property renovation. By this time his career in Real Estate had out-grown his career in Software Development, and he decided to become a full-time Real Estate Agent.
Rob became a Real Estate Agent primarily to be able to help his friends and family with his generosity and hard work ethic, rekindle old relationships and produce new meaningful ones, while continuing to grow as a person and help others by leveraging his knowledge in Real Estate transactions, residential construction, being a landlord, and website development.
Rob is a huge Toronto Raptors basketball fan, and has been since their inception. He is often found enjoying a cold hoppy beer on a patio with his friends and family. He has the travel bug, and tends to vacation to all-inclusive hot spots like the Caribbean, or luxury cruise ships. In his down time he likes to keep in shape by playing recreational volleyball, or engaging in shared online video gaming experiences with friends.
